The BAVARIA C38 combines perfect sailing characteristics, easy handling and maximum use of the interior space. Distinctive design features, such as the BAVARIA V-bow and Chines at the stern, guarantee safe and fast sailing characteristics and an incredible amount of space below deck. In the owner’s cabin in the bow, the double bed measures a sensational 1.73 x 2 metres. The berths in the stern cabins measure 1.50 x 2 metres, which must also be close to a record for this size of boat.

A new sense of space

The interior of the new BAVARIA C38 is wide, spacious and bright. The most striking is the saloon with a big table for up to 8 people, good size galley and a lot of natural light coming in through the side windows and the hatches. All cabins are wide and have exceptionally comfortable beds, but most notably the forward cabin thanks to the new V-bow is more spacious than ever. You can choose between two cabins with one heads and three cabins with two heads and everything in between even a lowerable saloon table for additional double berth for up to 8 people sleeping on board.

More volume and more performance

Walking down the dock and looking at her stern you would think the new BAVARIA C38 is more like 45 feet. This is just one expression of the new and innovative thinking by Cossutti Yacht Design and Bavaria Yachts. Along with the new V-bow and the chines at the back, this boat has unusually spacious interior and decks, but also combined with performance expected from the C-line - great stability, longer waterline for greater speeds and more direct feel behind the wheel and that nice balance when heeled because of the more volume in the V-bow. Also all that beam hasn't been wasted - extending all the way to the back you will feel very comfortable in the wide cockpit. That also allows for more space between the two helms, so you can move freely from the swimming platform through the cockpit, around the table to the interior through the extra long opening. The extended coach roof line is simple but effective in adding to the sporty looks of this comfortable yacht. Perfectly positioned winches and high coamings make the BAVARIA C38 easy and ergonomic to handle, but also safe and comfortable while sailing.

Self tacking jib is standard, but if you want more performance, get the side Genoa tracks with the bigger sail, the bowsprit for the gennaker or Code 0. All this combined with the 3 blade folding propeller and you are well set for the next regatta. Fusion marine audio system with high quality speakers will keep the party going, while the B&G forward scan will bring you that much closer to the shore under beautiful hills or near the beach for the perfect setting. If you like effortless sailing opt for the electric winches and stay with the self-tacking jib. If you are into long distance cruising get the 2 cabin version, the 35l freezer, the additional 150l forward water tank, all the sails you can carry and the shallow keel to make available new horizons and new destinations. Don't forget the boat is rated Category A for up to 8 people so there is little this boat can't do.
